The fire was reported at 1810 hours. Firefighters from the Industrial Area Fire Station arrived at 1816 hours and were later supported by reinforcements from the National Headquarters, Accra City, Trade Fair, and Madina Fire Stations. A Turn-Table Ladder from Tema also supported the operation.

The fire was contained at 2223 hours, brought under control at 2328 hours, and fully extinguished at 2347 hours after several hours of coordinated firefighting operations.

Although the top floor of the warehouse and several plastic materials were partially burnt, firefighters successfully salvaged the ground floor, adjoining shops, and nearby structures, preventing the fire from spreading further.

The GNFS confirmed that no casualties were recorded during the incident.

Investigations are currently underway to determine the cause of the fire. The Service has also urged business owners and warehouse operators to strictly adhere to fire safety protocols.
