Renowned Evangelist, Reverend Dr Lawrence Tetteh, has been honoured by leadership expert and philanthropist Dr John Maxwell at the African Highroad Leadership Conference 2025 held in Nairobi, Kenya.

Dr Tetteh, one of the keynote speakers at the gathering, delivered a message on “the dangers of offence,” a subject he described as the downfall of many emerging leaders.

He urged leaders to remain focused despite negative remarks or conduct from others, cautioning that such distractions could divert them from their God-given purpose.

Drawing from scripture, he emphasised the need for leaders to manage their emotions at all times to avoid what he termed “the traps of the enemy.”

“Offences are traps of the enemy, offences will make you sick, offences will make you boastful and arrogant, offence will make you lose your authority, offence will make you lose what you have laboured for…” he warned.

The award presented to Rev. Dr Tetteh recognised his exemplary leadership, dedication to the Gospel, and long-standing impact as a transformational minister of God.

Mr Eric Nyuma, Africa Regional Director of the Maxwell/EQUIP Leadership Beyond Success Programme, praised him for mentoring young leaders and positively influencing lives across the continent.

Dr John C. Maxwell, celebrated globally as a leading authority in leadership, is an American author, speaker, and coach.

He has written several bestsellers, including “The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership,” and founded organisations such as the John Maxwell Company and EQUIP to train leaders worldwide. His teachings have reached millions across more than 180 countries, including Fortune 500 companies and Heads of State.

Rev. Dr Lawrence Tetteh, Founder and President of the Worldwide Miracle Outreach headquartered in London, has devoted his life to ministry, philanthropy, and intellectual pursuits.

Through tele-evangelism, public speaking, and his Miracle Touch TV programme, he has touched audiences around the world.
