The Ministry of the Interior has extended the deadline for Category C (WASSCE) applicants under the 2025/26 Centralized Services E-Recruitment exercise following technical challenges experienced during the online aptitude test.
In an official notice, the Ministry acknowledged that some candidates encountered difficulties while attempting to submit their tests and has therefore introduced a structured mop-up exercise to ensure no applicant is unfairly disadvantaged.

The extended testing period for Category C applicants will run from Saturday, 21st February to Friday, 28th February 2026, and will be conducted in service-based batches.
Candidates applying to the Ghana Immigration Service (GIS) will take their tests from 21st to 23rd February, followed by those applying to the Ghana Police Service on 24th and 25th February.
Applicants for the Ghana National Fire Service and the Ghana Prisons Service will sit for their tests between 26th and 28th February 2026.
Additionally, a general mop-up exercise for all categories (A to C) has been scheduled for 1st to 2nd March 2026, with results expected to be released on 4th March 2026.
The Ministry stated that SMS notifications will be sent to affected applicants, directing them to log into the portal and retake the aptitude test within the assigned dates.
However, the 82 percent of applicants who have already completed the test successfully will not be able to access the system again until results are officially published.
To further address concerns, a live social media session will be held on Sunday, 22nd February 2026 at 8:30 PM, where the technical facilitator will respond to issues relating to the aptitude test and the broader recruitment process.
The Ministry emphasized its commitment to fairness, transparency, and equal opportunity throughout the recruitment exercise and urged applicants to adhere strictly to the revised schedule.
