The Ghana Police Service Sports Directorate has welcomed Inspector Juliet Appiah to Ghana following her officiating role in the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup qualifier between Côte d’Ivoire and Sierra Leone in Yamoussoukro.
She arrived on April 18, 2026, after the assignment, which came shortly after her promotion from Sergeant to Inspector.

Inspector Appiah was received at the airport by the Director of Sports, ASP Bernice Rashidatu Abdulai Timbilla, along with members of the Sports Directorate.
Also present were Dr Eunice Rabiatu Abdulai, Founder and CEO of Orlent Ghana Africa, and Leanier Afiyea-Obo Addy, a former Executive Committee member of the Ghana Football Association and Head of Women’s Football.
The Police Service said her international performance reflects professionalism and enhances the reputation of Police Sports.
The Directorate also acknowledged the Inspector-General of Police and the Police Management Board for recognising excellence through her promotion.
