The Great Commission Church International (GCCI) has ordained 17 new pastors at a special service in Accra, with a strong charge to commit themselves to the Church‘s mission of world evangelism.
Delivering the sermon, Apostle Joseph Felix Kwesi Mensah, Chairman of the GCCI Executive Council, urged the newly ordained pastors to prioritise the unfinished task of evangelism and align themselves with the Church’s vision of winning, churching and discipling souls.

He reminded them that the five-fold ministry gifts—Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Teachers and Pastors—were given by Christ for the perfection of the saints and the advancement of the work of ministry.
The ordained pastors include: Rev Jeremiah Foster Brempong, Rev Emmanuel Abraham, Rev Walter Y. Adanunyo, Rev John Y. Amoako, Rev Kpedo Justice Benjamin, Rev David Adansi, Rev Joseph Lamptey Tawiah, Rev Samuel Yaw Essel, Rev Dominic Fiattor, Rev Fortune Mark Adjorlolo, Rev Joseph Kofi Agadzi, Rev Thomas Baidoo, Rev Kwakye Williams, Rev Jedidiah Jojo Ansah, Rev John MK Nyonyonah, Rev Ernest Kweku Otoo and Rev John Ayitey.
Apostle Dr Samuel Vincent Ansah, GCCI Ghana National Council Chairman, who officiated the ordination, charged the pastors to faithfully serve the body of Christ through preaching sound doctrine, offering pastoral care to their congregations, and leading by Christ-like example.
Certificates of Ordination were later presented to the ordinands by Mrs Georgina Mensah, Global First Lady of GCCI, and Mrs Paulina Ansah, First Lady of GCCI Ghana.
