Compassion International Ghana reflects on the year, expresses gratitude in Christmas message

In his and message, Mr. Kobina Yeboah Okyere, National Director of Compassion International Ghana (CIG), acknowledged the challenges faced in the year but expressed gratitude for the peace that has prevailed.

“The year has not been devoid of challenges, but the good Lord has seen us through and even granted us peace,” Mr. Okyere stated, emphasizing the guidance of God's still voice during difficult times.

He commended Partner Churches of CIG for their dedicated efforts in releasing children from poverty and extended appreciation to Pastors, Church Partnership Committee members, and Child Development Workers for their crucial roles in supporting the organization's vision and mission.

“To our Child Development Workers and Volunteers, I wish to thank you for the love and shepherding roles you are playing in the lives of the children and youth of our programmes,” he expressed.

Grateful for God's sustaining grace, Mr. Okyere expressed hope for continued collective efforts to intervene in the lives of children living in poverty. He highlighted the transformation of many children into youths and adults who, in turn, became positive influences in their communities.

CIG, through its Partners, expanded its reach to other needy areas, offering opportunities for individuals to experience the love of Christ and commit their lives fully to Him.

As he extended wishes to Ghanaians, Mr. Okyere expressed optimism that the year 2024 would usher in a new dawn.

Compassion International Ghana, a visionary Non-Governmental Organisation, remains committed to transforming the lives of children living in extreme poverty.
