Gold service providers directed to report to GoldBod over compliance exercise

The Compliance Directorate of the Ghana Gold Board (GoldBod) has directed directors and owners of six gold service provider companies to report to its head office in Accra as part of a routine compliance exercise.

In a notice dated February 10, 2026, the Directorate stated that the action is being carried out pursuant to Section 43 of the Ghana Gold Board Act, 2025 (Act 1140), to ensure financial and operational compliance with applicable enactments by Gold Service Providers.

According to the notice, the affected companies are required to appear on Thursday, February 12, 2026 at 10am without fail to assist with the exercise.

The companies listed are Max-Palasco Limited, S-Seven Hills Enterprise, Passion Gold Limited, IBF Mineral Resource Limited, Maabisco Multipurpose Enterprise, and Gastonesin Enterprise.

The GoldBod indicated that it remains committed to enforcing the laws and regulations governing the gold trading sector in the spirit of accountability and transparency.

The notice was signed by the Compliance Directorate of the Ghana Gold Board.
