Ghana business breakfast in London targets diaspora capital for investment growth

The UK-Ghana Chamber of Commerce (UKGCC) has reaffirmed its core mandate of driving trade, investment, and strategic partnerships between the United Kingdom and Ghana.

The Ghana High Commission in the United Kingdom, in collaboration with UKGCC and Access Media, hosted a Ghana Business Breakfast Meeting in London.

The meeting was held under the theme “Harnessing Diaspora Capital and Partnerships to Drive Investment to Ghana.”

The session brought together diaspora investors, fintech operators, financial institutions, and policy stakeholders.

The discussions focused on mobilising diaspora capital and strengthening investment flows into Ghana’s digital economy and productive sectors.

The Ghana Interbank Payment and Settlement Systems presented insights on Ghana’s growing digital payments and fintech ecosystem.

The presentation highlighted progress toward seamless cross-border transactions to support trade.

The Ghana Cocoa Marketing Company UK LTD. highlighted opportunities across the cocoa and agribusiness value chains.

The engagement encouraged diaspora partnerships in value addition and export growth.

The UKGCC supported the engagement through coordination, business matchmaking, and strategic facilitation.
