According to the Bank, it is not considering, discussing, or planning the sale of the facility, which it described as a critical asset supporting its operations and enhancing efficiency in the discharge of its statutory mandate.
The Bank urged the public and media to disregard the publication, warning that unverified reports could undermine public confidence in Ghana’s financial system and create unnecessary market uncertainty.
It reaffirmed its commitment to transparency and stated that all official communications are issued through its website, verified social media platforms, press statements from the Communications Department, and signed statements from the Secretary of the Bank.
The Bank also encouraged media organisations to seek clarification before publishing information relating to its operations.
