PROFILE: Hon. Francis Kwabena Berepong Owusu-Akyaw

Hon. Francis Kwabena Berepong Owusu-Akyaw is the Member of Parliament for Juaben Constituency in the Ashanti Region, representing the New Patriotic Party (NPP). Born on Saturday, 30th June 1979, in Juaben-Ashanti, he is a Christian by faith and currently serving in Parliament for the first time.

An accomplished mineral consultant and managing director of DML Investment Limited, Owusu-Akyaw combines extensive field experience with a solid academic foundation. He holds a Certificate of Proficiency from the School of Mines (2004), a BSc from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (2020), an MSc from the University of Ghana (2021), and an LLB from GIMPA-KAAF University College (2022).

In Parliament, he contributes to legislative oversight and resource governance as a member of the Lands and Natural Resources Committee and the Standing Orders Committee.
