Madam Enyonam Adzo Apetorgbor, the National Democratic Congress () 2023 Parliamentary Candidate (PC) for , has expressed her support for the appointment of a woman as the running mate, believing it will serve as an inspiration to women nationwide.

Following the announcement that Prof Naana Jane Opoku-Agyeman would once again be paired with Flagbearer for the 2024 elections, Madam Apetorgbor conveyed her congratulations in an official release on Wednesday, April 24, 2024.
