ZEN Petroleum donates bus to Future Leaders School, commits GH¢2-million for education enhancement

ZEN Petroleum Limited, in partnership with Akwaaba Volunteers, has demonstrated its commitment to community empowerment by presenting a 25-seater bus to the Future Leaders School (FLS) in Tse Addo, Greater Region. The initiative aims to enhance educational activities and support underprivileged children in the area.

The bus, purchased through ZEN Petroleum's corporate social investment, is part of a two-million-Ghana- fund dedicated to improving teaching and learning at FLS. Mr. William Tewiah, Managing Director of ZEN Petroleum Ltd, emphasized the company's dedication to corporate social responsibility and assisting needy communities through quality education.

The collaboration was initiated after Akwaaba Volunteers highlighted the challenges faced by FLS, a charity school catering to over 400 less-privileged children. The committed support aims to provide breakfast for the children, subsidize teacher salaries, and ease transportation to and from school.

Mr. Tewiah praised Akwaaba Volunteers for their impactful work in education-focused charity, acknowledging their role in identifying and addressing the needs of underprivileged children. Madam Mabel Akpor, Headteacher of FLS, expressed gratitude to ZEN Petroleum and Akwaaba Volunteers for their invaluable support and called for further assistance from other organizations to ensure quality education for less-privileged children.

Miss Doris Baka, a pupil at FLS, extended heartfelt gratitude to the donors, emphasizing the positive impact of their contributions on the lives of the students. ZEN Petroleum Ltd, a Ghanaian-owned Oil Marketing Company, has consistently demonstrated excellence in its operations, serving as a reliable partner in fuel supply to various sectors across the country.
