Rehabilitation of Damongo town roads commences

Mr. Saeed Muhazu Jibril, the Municipal Chief Executive for Damongo, has initiated the commencement of a significant infrastructural development project—a five-kilometre road in Damongo town. This endeavour aligns with the government's “Year of Roads” agenda, aiming to enhance accessibility within the area.

The project, set to be executed over 24 months, boasts a budget exceeding 24.4 million cedis and is entrusted to M/S Naschon Company Limited for construction. It encompasses a 3.5-kilometre by-pass alongside an additional 1.5 kilometres of road infrastructure.

Expressing his enthusiasm, Mr. Jibril, also the Minister-designate for the Region, emphasized that this initiative heralds the commencement of a series of similar projects earmarked for implementation. He reiterated the government's commitment to ramping up road construction efforts nationwide throughout the year.

Offering his unwavering support, Mr. Jinapor assured collaboration to ensure the timely completion of the project, underscoring its significance in advancing local infrastructure and fostering community development.
