Market women in the Nkwanta South Municipality of the Oti Region have pledged their support to Madam Sherifa Sekyere-Tijani, the Parliamentary Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP). During a visit to the Nkwanta South Central market, the women expressed their readiness to back Sekyere-Tijani in the upcoming December 7 election, believing that her leadership would bring development to the area.
Sekyere-Tijani, who is also the Deputy Managing Director of the State Housing Corporation, emphasized her vision of fostering development in Nkwanta South and sought the women's endorsement for the forthcoming polls. Encouraging them to vote massively for her, she promised to prioritize initiatives that would benefit the community.
Moreover, Sekyere-Tijani urged the market women to embrace peace, emphasizing its importance as a catalyst for development.
