
Hon. Ampaabeng Kyeremeh Simon is the Member of Parliament for Berekum East, representing the constituency on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC). He was born on Saturday, 13th July 1985, and hails from Berekum Senase. A Christian by faith, he currently serves in his first term in Parliament.
He holds a PhD in Development Management from SDD-UBIDS (2025), an MPhil in Development Management from the University for Development Studies (2013), and a BA in Integrated Development Studies from the same university (2010). He completed his secondary education at Berekum Senior High School in 2004.

Before entering Parliament, Hon. Kyeremeh Simon built a solid career in education, public service, and the private sector. He worked as a teacher with the Ghana Education Service, a census supervisor with the Ghana Statistical Service, and later served as a Regional Monitoring and Evaluation Officer at the National Health Insurance Authority. He is also the Chief Executive Officer of Adwumapa Group Limited.
In Parliament, he is a member of the Gender, Children and Social Welfare Committee and the Assurance Committee.
