President Akufo-Addo reassigns Deputy Minister Stephen Amoah to Finance Ministry

President has announced the reassignment of Dr. Stephen Amoah, also known as Sticker, from his position as Deputy Minister for to Deputy Minister for Finance. The decision was communicated in a letter dated April 2, 2024, signed by Eugene Arhin, the Director of Communications at the .

Dr. Amoah's redeployment comes in the wake of the passing of the former Deputy Minister for Finance, Hon. , on March 7, 2024. With immediate effect, Dr. Amoah will assume his new responsibilities in the .

In the same communication, President nominated Hon. Kofi Ahenkorah Marfo, the Member of for Achiase, as the Deputy Minister-designate for , subject to parliamentary approval. The President expressed hope for bipartisan support for Marfo's swift confirmation to facilitate his contribution to the government's agenda.

Dr. Stephen Amoah, representing the Nhyiaeso Constituency, initially assumed office as Deputy Minister for Trade and Industry on April 4, 2023. His transition to the marks exactly one year since assuming his previous role.
