Kenyan President William Ruto is scheduled to arrive in Accra for a three-day state visit to Ghana. The visit aims to strengthen bilateral ties between the two nations and will involve the signing of agreements covering various sectors such as agriculture, trade and investment, education, and research.
The announcement was made by Madam Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey, Ghana's Minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, during the opening of the Ghana-Kenya Ministerial Session of the Permanent Joint Commission for Cooperation and Business Forum in Accra.
The Permanent Joint Commission for Cooperation serves as a platform to enhance economic growth and technical cooperation between Ghana and Kenya.
The Kenyan delegation, led by Dr. Musalia Mudavadi, Prime Cabinet Secretary and Cabinet Secretary for the Ministry of Foreign and Diaspora Affairs, will engage in discussions aimed at deepening the existing partnership between the two countries.
