Consolidated Bank Ghana Limited (CBG) has unveiled a range of products aimed at supporting small and midsize businesses (SMEs) in Nkawkaw, Eastern Region, opening up opportunities for growth and development. Among these offerings is a collateral-free loan, allowing SMEs to access up to GH¢500,000.00 without the need for collateral.
Speaking at the official launch of the bank in Nkawkaw, Mr. Daniel Wilson Addo, Managing Director of CBG, emphasized the bank's commitment to providing safe, convenient, and competitive banking products and services to residents and surrounding communities. Recognizing Nkawkaw as an SME hub, CBG has tailored special products to cater to the needs of this sector.
CBG's product portfolio encompasses a range of flexible solutions for individuals, businesses, children, and students, including investments, loans, savings, advisory services, and insurance. With 114 branches spread across 13 regions of Ghana, the bank aims to serve as a catalyst for economic growth by supporting micro and small enterprises, as well as retail traders.
Looking ahead, CBG plans to introduce innovative digital solutions such as mobile banking and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance the banking experience for customers, facilitating easier access to banking services.
Mr. Yaw Owusu Addo, the Kwahu West Municipal Chief Executive, urged CBG to strengthen its partnerships with reputable businessmen in the area, leveraging the renowned business acumen of Kwahu natives to drive economic growth and development.
Nana Asante Kwame Betieni, Chief of Kwahu Atibie, pledged the traditional area's support by offering land for the construction of accommodation facilities for CBG workers. He also emphasized the importance of professionalism, hard work, dedication, and excellent customer service among CBG staff to foster a positive working relationship and enhance the bank's image in the community.
