Vice President Dr. , the New Patriotic Party () Flagbearer, has outlined a compelling case for his election as President of the Republic, emphasizing his commitment to bold solutions for the country's future.

Addressing a mammoth crowd in Mpraeso after a health walk, Dr. Bawumia juxtaposed his vision with that of his main opponent, former President John Mahama, characterizing the latter's approach as “old solutions” compared to his own “bold solutions.”

Highlighting his track record as Vice President, Dr. Bawumia underscored his role in resolving generational issues and pledged to do more if elected President, promising new ideas and innovative solutions to propel Ghana forward.

Among his proposed initiatives, Dr. Bawumia announced plans for a new tax system featuring a flat tax rate and tax amnesty for businesses and individuals. He also emphasized the importance of technology, vowing to train one million young Ghanaians in coding and software applications.

Additionally, Dr. Bawumia revealed his plans to revise the National Service Scheme, making it optional for graduates who secure immediate employment. He reiterated his commitment to streamlining the passport application process through integration with the biometric database.

Highlighting the 's superior record in various sectors, including education, economic indicators, healthcare infrastructure, tourism, and digitalization, Dr. Bawumia urged party members to work diligently to secure victory in the upcoming presidential election.

The health walk attracted thousands of participants, including NPP stalwarts such as National Chairman Stephen Ayesu Ntim, General Secretary , as well as Ministers, Deputy Ministers, and aspirants who recently contested in the NPP presidential primaries.
