Vice President Dr. has officially commissioned an ultra-modern police station in Asakraka, located in the South District of the . This newly constructed police facility, distinguished by its brick architecture, marks a departure from the conventional block designs commonly seen in police stations across the country.

During the commissioning ceremony, Dr. Bawumia lauded the for embracing this innovative brick-model architecture, emphasizing its aesthetic appeal and likening it to a modern bank building. He commended the leadership of the Police Service, under the Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Dr. , for their forward-thinking approach in adopting this new construction model.

Dr. Bawumia, who also serves as Chairman of the Police Council, highlighted that the completion of this ultra-modern police station is part of a broader initiative by the Police Service, with two similar stations already completed in the area. He emphasized the importance of such facilities in enhancing law and order within communities like Asakraka and its environs.

Acknowledging the critical role played by the Police Service in maintaining peace and security, Dr. Bawumia called on the public to continue supporting and cooperating with law enforcement agencies. He underscored the government's commitment to equipping the Police Service with modern tools and resources, citing the provision of helicopters, armoured vehicles, and motorcycles as examples of this support.

In his remarks, Inspector-General of Police, Dr. , expressed his appreciation for the commissioning of the new police station and thanked Vice President Bawumia for his unwavering support to both him and the Police Service.
