Ledzokuku MP donates medical equipment to Teshie Community Clinic 

Mr. Benjamin Ayiku Narteh, the National Democratic Congress () Member of (MP) for Ledzokuku in the Greater Region, has embarked on the construction of an ultra-modern polyclinic in Teshie, , to address health challenges in the constituency.

The 60-bed facility, estimated at GH¢2.2 million, is financed through the MP's Common Fund and is being executed by Jeoberg, a Ghanaian company. This initiative aims to alleviate strain on the LEKMA Hospital following the demolition of the for reconstruction.

Mr. Narteh announced this during a donation of medical equipment valued at GH¢79,000 to the Teshie Community Clinic and Maternity Home. The donation includes delivery beds, laboratory machines, a photocopier, and other medical accessories.

Expressing his motivation for the donation, Mr. Narteh recounted witnessing a woman in labour at the clinic without a bed during a campaign visit. He emphasized fulfilling promises made during his campaign, highlighting his commitment to improving healthcare facilities in the constituency.

Additionally, Mr. Narteh pledged to fence the Community Clinic to prevent unauthorized access and activities.

Mr. Moses Asomani, the Administrator of the Clinic, commended the MP for his generosity and called on other philanthropists, NGOs, and benevolent organizations to support the clinic's initiatives.
