Exhibitors at 28th Ghana Trade Fair call for increased publicity

Some exhibitors at the recently concluded 28th Ghana Trade Fair Exhibition, held at the West Hills Mall, have highlighted the need for more publicity for the event despite acknowledging its benefits for promoting and selling their products.

Organized by the Ghana Trade Fair Centre (GTFC), the exhibition took place from March 1 to March 7, providing companies, especially local manufacturers and industries, with the opportunity to showcase their businesses outside their usual outlets. The theme for this year's edition was “E-Commerce: Key to SME Growth for Economic Development.”

While exhibitors appreciated the platform for promoting their products, they expressed the sentiment that the fair could have garnered more publicity. They emphasized the importance of raising awareness to attract more visitors, including potential customers.

Roselyn Nutakor, CEO of Nuna Glamour, a local clothing manufacturing company and a repeat exhibitor, noted the positive impact of the fair on her sales but highlighted the need for improved publicity efforts. She observed that many attendees visited out of curiosity rather than prior knowledge of the exhibition, indicating a potential for increased attendance with better promotion.

Overall, exhibitors recognized the value of the Ghana Trade Fair Exhibition as a platform for showcasing their products and expanding their customer base but called for enhanced publicity in future editions to maximize its impact and reach.
