The Juaboso Constituency Executive Working Committee of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Western North Region has conveyed gratitude to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for appointing Dr Alex Ampaabeng, the party's 2024 Parliamentary Candidate for the area, as a Deputy Finance Minister.
At a press conference held at the party's constituency office in Juaboso, Mr Stephen Affum Kroko, the Constituency Chairman, expressed appreciation for the appointment, stating that it would serve as motivation for the party to secure the parliamentary seat from the National Democratic Congress.
Mr Kroko emphasized the joy and honour felt by the entire constituency, from polling station executives to floating voters, and credited the Regional Chairman and Minister for their support in achieving this milestone.
He pledged the party's commitment to working diligently to secure victory in both the parliamentary and presidential elections in the Juaboso Constituency during the upcoming December 7 elections.
Mr. Godfred Kwabena Agyei Asante, Juaboso District Chief Executive, also extended gratitude to President Akufo-Addo for entrusting Dr. Ampaabeng with the responsibility to contribute his expertise to the Finance Ministry.
He expressed confidence in adopting a new strategy alongside the parliamentary candidate to ensure the party's success in winning the seat for the first time.
Supporters attending the press conference echoed sentiments of positivity, viewing Dr Ampaabeng's appointment as a positive step that would foster motivation and unity within the party as they prepare for the December polls.
