Fidelity Bank marks National Chocolate Day with donations

In honour of National Chocolate Day, , through its customer experience team, embarked on philanthropic initiatives aimed at community development and inclusivity. The bank's initiatives included donations and events to support children with special needs and honour mothers of children with disabilities.

At the New Horizon School, donated GH¢ 10,000 and two boxes of locally made chocolates. Madam Comfort Amoo, Head of Customer Experience at Fidelity Bank, emphasized the bank's commitment to inclusivity and providing opportunities for all individuals, regardless of ability. She highlighted the importance of supporting organizations like New Horizon and expressed gratitude for the enriching interactions with the students.

Jocelyn Adoboe, Deputy Principal of New Horizon Special School, expressed appreciation for Fidelity Bank's continuous support, noting that the bank's generosity exemplifies the spirit of partnership. The donation, coupled with the chocolate experience, contributes to the school's philosophy of “learning through joy.”

In addition to supporting children with special needs, Fidelity Bank recognized the resilience of mothers raising children with disabilities. A special luncheon and donation event held at the (GFD) provided these remarkable women with a moment of respite, connection, and support. Mrs. Hannah Awadzi, Executive Director of the Special Mothers Project, commended Fidelity Bank for its commitment to inclusivity and urged for continued engagement in addressing issues affecting children with disabilities.

Marjorie Quansah, Corporate Social Responsibility Coordinator at Fidelity Bank, emphasized the importance of spreading kindness and making a positive impact in Ghanaian communities, particularly on National Chocolate Day. The bank's initiatives underscore its longstanding commitment to community development, inclusivity, and empowering the less fortunate.
