Mrs. -Ekuful, expressing deep gratitude, attributed her successful retention as the New Patriotic Party () Parliamentary Candidate for the Ablekuma West Constituency in the upcoming December 7 poll to the grace of God. This marks her fourth consecutive nomination by the Party, following the primaries held on January 27, this year.

Securing a remarkable 817 votes out of the total valid votes cast, Mrs Owusu-Ekuful emerged victorious over her contender, Mr Robert Kwesi Nicole, who garnered 241 votes. Her triumphant win was celebrated at a thanksgiving service held at the Emmanuel in Dansoman, where she emphasized the role of divine guidance in her journey.

In her address, Mrs Owusu-Ekuful expressed profound gratitude to God for His continual guidance throughout her life. She remained optimistic about His continued favour and pledged unwavering devotion to Him. She reiterated her belief that reliance on God yields unfailing rewards.

Accompanied by her husband, family members, Constituency executives, friends, and well-wishers, Mrs Owusu-Ekuful's thanksgiving service was marked by reflections on faith and divine providence. Reverend Mrs Naa Ayorkor Djanie, delivering a sermon on “Jesus Has Power Over Sickness,” underscored the importance of forsaking negative traits such as self-centeredness and disobedience to foster growth in and society.

The service also witnessed the re-inauguration of a reconstituted 32-member choir, comprising 20 females and 12 males. Reverend Tetteh Suomi Akunor, District Minister for the Dansoman District of the of Ghana, emphasized the significance of the Choir's role in spiritual enrichment and community impact. He encouraged the choristers to uphold integrity, engage in prayerful study of the Word of God, and live lives worthy of emulation.

As Mrs. -Ekuful embarks on her fourth candidacy journey, her commitment to serving her constituency remains steadfast, buoyed by her faith and gratitude for the opportunities bestowed upon her by divine providence.
