President Nana Addo Dankwa has underscored Africa's potential to overcome poverty, emphasizing the continent's vast natural resources and youthful population.

Speaking at the second edition of the Africa Prosperity Dialogues in Peduase, , President highlighted Africa's abundance of resources, including oil, gas, minerals, ample sunlight, and vast arable land.

He emphasized that these resources position Africa to feed 9 billion people globally by 2030 and become a global powerhouse.

“Africa is not a poor continent; in fact, she is too rich to be poor,” President Akufo-Addo declared during the event.

Encouraged by a proactive private sector and initiatives like the (), President Akufo-Addo emphasized the importance of economic integration for Africa's development.

“I'm now encouraged that Africa now has a private sector that is ready, deliberate, and eager to see that the 60-year-old dream of the United Africa manifests,” he stated.

President Akufo-Addo stressed the need for concerted efforts to facilitate the free movement of people, goods, and services across Africa, highlighting economic integration as a crucial step towards realizing the continent's potential.

His remarks at the Africa Prosperity Dialogues reflect a call to action for harnessing Africa's resources and fostering economic cooperation to drive sustainable development and prosperity across the continent.
