MP Benjamin Ayiku Nartey to construct clinic in Teshie, Accra: Ghana News

Mr. Benjamin Ayiku Nartey, Member of for Ledzokuku in the Greater Region, has announced plans to construct a clinic in Teshie, , to address healthcare challenges faced by constituents.

Speaking in Accra during a free medical outreach organized in collaboration with the Ledzokuku Municipal Health Directorate, Mr. Ayiku Nartey revealed that the of Ghana has offered a large tract of land for the clinic project, which is expected to be completed by the end of the year.

“The well-being of the people in the constituency is paramount,” Mr. Ayiku Nartey emphasized, highlighting the importance of initiatives aimed at improving healthcare access.

The outreach provided constituents with screenings for various health conditions, including blood pressure, diabetes, malaria, Hepatitis ‘B', and eye screenings.

Additionally, individuals without (NHIS) cards were registered to ensure access to free medical care.

Mr. Ayiku Nartey pledged to extend the outreach to all 12 electoral areas in the constituency and to construct footbridges in key locations to facilitate safer road crossings.

Expressing optimism for further infrastructure improvements, Mr. Ayiku Nartey called for unity within the National Democratic Congress () to work towards regaining power.
