Zed Multimedia launches in Accra with new TV & radio stations, website and newspaper

witnessed the launch of Zion Hills Multimedia (Zed Multimedia), a new media organization committed to projecting Lifestyle, Leisure, and Business (LLB) across diverse platforms.

The media organization includes several subsidiaries such as The New Finder Newspaper, Zed 101.9fm radio, Zed TV, Zedonline, and Zed Tech.

Speaking at the launch on Friday, Nana Osafo Kantanka, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Zion Hills Multimedia, expressed his excitement about the milestone and the organization's journey to redefine mass media in Ghana. He promised a fresh perspective and a commitment to delivering content that resonates with diverse audiences.

The vision of the media organization is to become “a global, ethical, and sustainable media of choice,” with a mission to stand for excellence in the use of credible mass media to enhance the quality of human lives and serve the public interest.

Nana Osafo Kantanka, also a traditional ruler of Akropong in the , assured the organization's commitment to providing valuable information, delivering quality content, and fostering community engagement.

The guest speaker, Professor Ernest Kofi Abotsi, the Dean of the University of Professional Studies, () Law School, emphasized the need for a shift in political discourse within the Ghanaian media. He encouraged Zed Multimedia to lead in providing public broadcasting and credible information that benefits the masses.

Renowned public servant and academic, Professor Stephen Adei, challenged the management and workers of Zed Multimedia to be a voice of integrity and guard against misinformation and disinformation across all media platforms.

Economist and statesman Mr. Kwame Pianim stressed the importance of professionalism, balance, and dynamism in the media industry, emphasizing the critical role of the media as of the realm.

The Founder and General Overseer of the International Central Gospel Church, Dr. Pastor Mensa Otabil, dedicated and launched the organization. He urged them to exhibit uniqueness, be extremely innovative and excellent to thrive in a media market that has already been defined.

The launch event was attended by notable personalities, including Uncle Ebo Whyte, KKD, Mark Okraku-Mantey, Deputy Minister of Tourism Arts and Culture, Fritz Baffour, and Cynthia Prah, among others.
