Tensions rise in Nsawam Adoagyiri as NPP aspirant, Hayford Siaw posters defaced

Tension is escalating in the Adoagyiri Constituency in the as posters belonging to New Patriotic Party () Parliamentary aspirant Hayford Siaw are being systematically defaced. Mr. Siaw, the CEO of the Ghana Library Authority, is challenging the incumbent MP, Frank Annoh-Dompreh, for the party's primaries on January 27.

Mr. Siaw's publicity team has been posting campaign posters in various locations, only to find them removed overnight by unidentified individuals. A video has surfaced allegedly showing a man from the incumbent MP's camp physically assaulting a member of Siaw's team who questioned him about the poster defacement.

Supporters of Mr. Siaw have condemned the acts, calling them cowardly, and are urging the police to investigate and bring the perpetrators to justice. The situation is intensifying as tensions rise between the two camps.

Efforts to reach the incumbent Member of , Frank Annoh-Dompreh, for comment have been unsuccessful.
