Welcoming the delegation, Mr. Ablakwa expressed appreciation to the Chiefs for the visit and their warm congratulatory messages. He said he was particularly grateful that the Chiefs had travelled to Accra to pay the courtesy call, noting that he had initially intended to visit the House of Chiefs himself.
Togbe Tepre Hodo IV expressed appreciation for the warm reception and commended Mr. Ablakwa for his dedicated service and contributions to Ghana’s development, as well as his interest in the development of his constituency and the Volta Region.
He noted that the Volta Region had, for many years, faced challenges regarding its share of national resources and development opportunities.
However, he observed that significant changes had occurred in recent times, which he attributed to the Minister’s efforts and commitment to ensuring that the interests of the region received due attention.
Togbe Tepre Hodo IV further praised the Minister for maintaining a strong connection with the region despite his national responsibilities and encouraged him to continue championing the interests of the Volta Region while serving the broader interests of Ghana.
