The EEZZY Group Foundation has donated a brand-new Nissan pickup truck, 20 motorcycles and a modern agricultural tractor to support the 42nd National Farmers‘ Day celebrations and Ghana’s agricultural transformation agenda.
The items were presented to the Ministry of Food and Agriculture in Accra on Tuesday, July 15.

The Foundation said the donation supports President John Dramani Mahama‘s Agriculture for Economic Transformation Agenda, which seeks to modernise agriculture, increase productivity, create jobs and strengthen food security.
Chief Executive Officer of the EEZZY Group Foundation, Mohammed Raii, described agriculture as the backbone of national development and reaffirmed the Foundation’s commitment to supporting Ghanaian farmers.

Receiving the donation, Minister for Food and Agriculture Eric Opoku commended the Foundation for its contribution and announced that this year’s National Best Farmer will receive one of the largest prize packages in the history of the awards.
The package includes a brand-new Nissan pickup truck, GH¢1.2 million in cash, a brand-new agricultural tractor, and assorted modern farm inputs and equipment.
The Minister also disclosed that the Ministry has received two additional pickup trucks from other corporate organisations and a 50-seater bus to be awarded to the Best Senior High School in Practical Agriculture.
He called on businesses, institutions and philanthropists to support the 42nd National Farmers’ Day celebrations, scheduled for December 4, 2026, and assured the public that all donations would be distributed transparently.
This year’s National Farmers’ Day will be celebrated under the theme: “Our Farmers, Our Food, Our Future.”
