IGP orders probe into viral video alleging unauthorized mobile money withdrawal

The Christian Tetteh Yohuno has directed the Police Professional Standards Bureau (PPSB) to investigate a viral video alleging that some personnel at Kibi unlawfully withdrew GH₵400,000 from a mobile money account belonging to an agent.

Authorities have confirmed that the victim has been contacted and is cooperating fully with the ongoing investigation.

The Ghana Police Service has assured the public that the findings of the probe will be communicated promptly, emphasizing its commitment to transparency and accountability in handling such allegations.
