Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang calls for unity following State of the Nation Address

Vice President Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang has urged Ghanaians to remain united and support government efforts aimed at national development following the 2026 State of the Nation Address.

In a statement shared after attending the address at Parliament House, she said she joined President John Dramani Mahama as he outlined the progress made so far and presented the government’s vision for Ghana’s future.

According to her, the address underscored the administration’s commitment to advancing the country through deliberate action and collective effort. She noted that the government remains determined to push forward policies and initiatives designed to move Ghana to a higher level of development.

She emphasized the importance of national unity, especially at a time when difficult but necessary decisions must be taken in the interest of the country. While acknowledging the progress achieved, she called on citizens to support ongoing reforms and contribute meaningfully to national growth.

Her message concluded with an appeal to all Ghanaians to come together in a shared commitment to place the country firmly on the right path.
