Napo to contest Manhyia South NPP parliamentary primaries

Dr Mathew Opoku Prempeh, Member of (MP) for Manhyia South and Energy Minister, has officially submitted his nomination forms to vie for the New Patriotic Party () parliamentary primaries in the constituency.

This marks his fifth consecutive attempt to secure the party's candidacy.

Dr. Opoku Prempeh, who succeeded Dr. Kwame Addo Kufuor in 2009, expressed gratitude during a brief ceremony to present the nomination forms. He thanked the constituency leadership and the entire party membership for their unwavering support throughout the years.

The MP urged party members to continue supporting him and the , emphasizing their collective effort in transforming the constituency and fostering meaningful development.

Mr. Richard Ofori Atta, the constituency chairman, received the nomination forms and lauded Dr. Opoku Prempeh's track record since assuming office. He highlighted the MP's commitment to elevating the constituency's image, making it highly attractive at various levels.
