Kudus, 25, joined Tottenham Hotspur for £55 million during the summer transfer window and has quickly established himself as one of the league’s top creative forces, leading the assist charts alongside Jack Grealish with four.
“He’s a brilliant player,” Moyes said before Everton’s 3-0 defeat to Tottenham on Sunday. “He has so many attributes to his game. He is a great boy to work with. I hugely enjoyed managing him.”
The Scottish coach lauded Kudus’s balance, strength, and versatility, describing him as a player capable of operating in multiple attacking roles.
“He has great balance, can’t be knocked off the ball, and can play inside or outside,” Moyes explained. “He can play several positions if you want him.”
Kudus scored 18 goals in his debut season at West Ham before earning his big-money move to North London, where he has continued his impressive form.
“He’s just finding his form at Tottenham,” Moyes concluded. “From a distance, he looks like their best buy of the summer.”
