Deputy Chief of Staff (Operations) at the Presidency, Mr Stan Xoese Dogbe, has demanded an immediate retraction and public apology from broadcaster Adakabre Frimpong Manso and Neat FM over what he describes as false and damaging claims made on the station.

Through his lawyers, RO Solomon Consulting, Dogbe has formally written to Adakabre and Neat FM, refuting allegations that he and Callistus Mahama have been altering government appointments without the knowledge of President John Dramani Mahama. The claims, aired on Neat FM 100.9 MHz, suggested that members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) were angered by the alleged interference and were seeking to confront Callistus Mahama.

Mr Stan Dogbe‘s lawyers assert that their client has not been involved in any such actions and that the statements made on the show were fabrications intended to bring his name into disrepute and cause public disaffection. They further criticized Adakabre for failing to reach out to Mr Dogbe for his response before broadcasting the claims, describing this as a breach of journalistic ethics.

In a statement shared on social media, Mr Stan Dogbe noted that he would no longer tolerate what he termed “mercenary journalism” and reckless character assassination for personal and financial gain. He emphasized that such actions not only damage individual reputations but also erode public trust in journalism.
