Jubilee House to host first national forum on women in government & media

The Presidency has announced that the First Annual National Forum on Women in Government & Media will take place on 19th February 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Presidential Banquet Hall, Jubilee House.

The high-level forum, themed “Leadership • Visibility • Public Trust,” is expected to bring together distinguished women leaders, policymakers, and media professionals to promote strategic collaboration, enhance representation, and strengthen public confidence in governance and public communication.

President John Dramani Mahama and Vice President Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang are scheduled to grace the event.

Organizers say the forum underscores government’s commitment to inclusive leadership, institutional credibility, and the advancement of women in both public service and the media landscape.

The initiative aims to create a sustained platform for dialogue, mentorship, and policy engagement to improve women’s visibility and impact in national development.
