President Mahama said ongoing constitutional review processes are intended to expand diaspora participation in national governance, including proposals that would enable eligible dual citizens to serve at parliamentary and ministerial levels.

He also highlighted Ghana’s improving economic outlook, noting the country’s growing recognition as a reference point for economic recovery and reform.

The President further reaffirmed Ghana’s commitment to African integration and stressed the importance of regional cooperation under the African Continental Free Trade Area as a driver of shared prosperity across the continent.

The engagement also highlighted the role of the Ghanaian diaspora in supporting Ghana’s socio-economic development and strengthening international partnerships.
