Collaborating with seasoned American music industry professionals, including engineers, producers, and record label executives, Gambo is on a mission to make his upcoming album a resounding success.
Currently, Gambo is in the studio with legendary musician Jim Jones, putting the finishing touches on the remix of his hit song, ‘Drip.’ The rapper is also collaborating with a diverse array of artists as he works on his maiden studio album.
The Vodafone Ghana Music Award-winning artist, known for his outstanding musical prowess, is yet to unveil the title for his forthcoming album. However, fans can anticipate a musical journey filled with enchanting melodies and top-tier collaborations. Gambo’s return to the U.S. follows the recent release of his latest single, ‘Nobody,’ featuring the soulful vocals of Nigerian sensation Lade.
Recently, Gambo made waves at the YouTube Avenue event in Miami, where he not only showcased his electrifying performance but also had significant encounters with industry giants. Among those he met were Timberland, Mack Main (President of Young Money), Harry O (co-founder of Death Row Records), and Rance (four-time Grammy award-winner and producer for Jezzy’s ‘444 Album’).
The ‘Settle’ crooner also engaged with Carva Tee, a records executive, and Tumbasa, Head of YouTube Africa, at the YouTube Avenue event, reinforcing his growing influence on the global music scene.
Since his debut with the song ‘Kwacha’ in 2020, Gambo has enjoyed a glittering music career, marked by hard work, discipline, and dedication to his craft. In 2023, Gambo embarked on his first North American tour, captivating audiences in major cities across the U.S. His return to Ghana in July 2023, after the successful release of the popular street anthem ‘Cut Soap,’ featuring Nigerian singer Goya Menor, was met with a rousing welcome at the Kotoka International Airport.
