Presby SHS, Suhum, struggled to gain momentum from the onset, while Mankessim SHTS held their own for the first two rounds before fading when the competition intensified.

St. James, however, took charge early and never relinquished their lead, finishing the contest with an impressive 54 points, ahead of Mankessim’s 38 points and Presby SHS, Suhum’s 16 points.

With this win, St. James joins the growing list of schools that have booked their place in the quarter-finals, reinforcing their reputation as one of the most consistent and formidable schools in the NSMQ.

The confident champions say this is only the beginning, declaring that they came “to make a statement this year,” and their dominant scoreline shows they are off to a flying start.
