Biakoye MP Jean-Marie Formadi to honour outstanding teachers at 2025 MP’s Teachers Awards scheme

Madam Jean-Marie Formadi, Member of Parliament for Biakoye Constituency, is set to recognise exceptional teachers in her district at the 2025 MP’s Teachers Awards scheme, scheduled for Thursday, November 27, 2025.

The ceremony will take place at Bowiri Kwame-Krom Evangelical Presbyterian (E.P.) Church and is expected to attract students, community members, traditional leaders, clergy, Imams, and other dignitaries.

The programme, themed “Elevating the status of teachers for quality education, celebrating Biakoye’s Champions”, seeks to celebrate teachers who have demonstrated outstanding commitment to education.

Madam Formadi noted that the awards scheme was part of her 2024 campaign promises, which she was fulfilling for her constituents.

Key dignitaries expected to attend include Mr. Eric Kwaku Opong, District Chief Executive (DCE), Mr. David Kwame Seddoh, District Director of Education, Mrs. Irene Jacuelinda Attabra, Oti Regional Director of Education, and several other officials, community leaders, and stakeholders in education.
