Nine senior high schools have secured places in the semi-finals of the 2022 National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) after emerging victorious in the quarter-final stage of the competition.
The schools are Prempeh College, Mfantsipim School, Presbyterian Boys’ Secondary School (PRESEC-Legon), Abetifi Presbyterian Senior High School, Adisadel College, Kumasi High School, St. James Seminary Senior High School, Opoku Ware School, and St. Augustine’s College.

The semi-final contests are scheduled for Sunday, October 23.
The first contest, beginning at 9:00 a.m., will feature defending champions Prempeh College, Mfantsipim School, and Abetifi Presbyterian SHS.
At 12:00 p.m., St. James Seminary SHS, Kumasi High School, and PRESEC-Legon will compete for a place in the final.
The day’s final contest, expected to be one of the most competitive, will see St. Augustine’s College face Adisadel College and Opoku Ware School.
The winners of the three semi-final contests will advance to the grand finale later in the week to battle for the 2022 NSMQ title.
