Lynnex Ventures launches ‘Save the Children’ campaign to support underprivileged children

Unilever and Save the Children are working together to give young people the chance of a better future and improve the lives of families involved in vanilla production in the Sava region of Madagascar.

Madam Cynthia Raymond, Chief Executive Officer of Lynnex Ventures, has called for greater support and opportunities for underprivileged children as the company launched its “Save the Children” campaign in Accra.

The initiative, undertaken in collaboration with the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection (MGCSP), seeks to provide essential support to vulnerable children by addressing poverty, homelessness, hunger, sanitation, and education challenges.

Speaking at the launch, Madam Raymond said the campaign was born out of deep humanitarian concern and is aimed at creating a platform that provides for the basic needs of disadvantaged children. “I am willing to navigate through the challenges that will come in executing this project. It is a call to action for myself and the team to brighten the future of these young underprivileged ones. I want to contribute and be a positive agent for change and be part of solving the increasing problems of vulnerable children,” she said.

She added that her vision was to reach children across the globe and indicated her commitment to working with government agencies, stakeholders, and private entities to advance children’s welfare.

Madam Eugenia Dadson, a representative from the Department of Children at the MGCSP, lauded the initiative, describing it as a step in the right direction. She emphasised that supporting vulnerable children was crucial to complementing the government’s efforts and assured the ministry’s support for the project.

As part of its early activities, the Lynnex Ventures “Save the Children” campaign has already extended assistance to Nyame Ye Orphanage and Grace Foundation through donations.
