The project, initially initiated by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and completed by the current administration, was jointly commissioned by Mr Fiable and Nana Kweku Adae III, former DCE of THLD. During the ceremony, Mr Fiable urged the beneficiaries to maintain the facility regularly to ensure its longevity.
Mrs Elizabeth Gaisie, Physician Assistant at the Wawase Community Health Planning and Services (CHPS) Compound, lauded the government and the District Assembly for the initiative, noting that it would encourage nurses to accept postings to the community. She also pledged to maintain the facility and appealed for a laboratory to enable early disease diagnosis, thereby improving the overall health status of the local population.
