KOICA delegation meets Deputy Health Minister to support maternal mortality reduction in Ghana

Officials from the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), led by Country Director Mr. Dong Wan Woo, have paid a courtesy call on the Deputy Minister for Health, Prof. Dr. Grace Ayensu-Danquah, to explore areas of collaboration in support of Ghana’s efforts to reduce maternal mortality.

The engagement focused on the Maternal Mortality Action and Response Programme (MMARP), providing an opportunity for KOICA and the Ministry of Health to discuss strategies to strengthen maternal healthcare services and address preventable maternal deaths.

The discussions also sought to identify measures to improve health outcomes for mothers across the country.
