Early Power Limited donates medical supplies to Bediako CHPS Compound

Early Power Limited, an independent power producer based in the Kpone-Katamanso Municipality, has donated a range of medical equipment and consumables to the Bediako Community-Based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) Compound in the Nmlitsakpo Electoral Area.

The donation forms part of the company’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives aimed at enhancing healthcare delivery and promoting community wellbeing within its operational zones.

Items presented included suction machines, oxygen cylinders, delivery beds, admission beds, an autoclave, cotton wool, and other essential medical supplies.

Presenting the items, Mr Kofi Amoako Asiedu, Commercial Manager of Early Power Limited, said the company remains committed to supporting communities through interventions that improve social and health outcomes.

“The facility provides essential healthcare services to over 9,000 people, and these medical items will help improve maternal health, enhance child delivery, and reduce complications during emergencies,” he noted.

Receiving the items, Dr Esther Priscilla Biamah Danquah, Kpone-Katamanso Municipal Director of Health Services, expressed appreciation to Early Power Limited, describing the gesture as timely and impactful. She pledged that the items would be put to effective use to strengthen healthcare delivery in the area.

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Mr Samuel Tetteh Kwashie Morton, lauded the company for its continued partnership in healthcare development and revealed that the assembly was collaborating with the Municipal Health Directorate to fully operationalise the new Bediako CHPS Compound.

He reaffirmed the assembly’s commitment to improving healthcare and other social services that enhance the quality of life for residents of Kpone-Katamanso.
