Akandoh embarks on monitoring visit to Upper East Region

The Minister for Health, Hon. Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, is in the Upper East Region to monitor the implementation of the Free Primary Healthcare programme.

The monitoring visit aims to assess progress on the ground, engage health workers and community stakeholders, and identify challenges that may require immediate attention to ensure the effective delivery of quality and accessible primary healthcare services.

The Minister will visit selected health facilities and communities to assess the implementation of the programme and interact with key stakeholders on the progress being made.

The Free Primary Healthcare programme is a key priority of the government, with the objective of bringing essential healthcare services closer to the people, particularly at the community and primary healthcare levels.
