Madam Judith Adjobah Blay, Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana National Gas Company Limited (GNGCL), has been named Energy Personality of the Year at the 2025 Western Regional Business Awards held in Takoradi.
The recognition was part of a remarkable night for the company, which also secured three other major accolades: Company of the Year, Corporate Social Investment Company of the Year, and Local Content Partner of the Year.
Mr Abizi Morkeh, an aide to the CEO and Manager of the Community Relations and Corporate Social Responsibility Department at GNGCL, led a team to receive the awards on behalf of Madam Blay. The achievement underscores the proven leadership and resilience demonstrated by the CEO and the entire workforce of the flagship national energy asset.

A joint citation signed by Mr Jedidiah Aryepah, Executive Director, and Mr Albert Kwofie, Board Chairman of the Western Regional Business Awards, highlighted the company’s pivotal role in stabilising the nation’s energy supply. The citation emphasised that GNGCL’s contributions over the past eight months have significantly boosted productivity across various sectors of the economy.
