In an interview with the Ghana News Agency, Madam Comfort Madah Kutum, President of GHEA, said the Association has, over six decades, championed practical education, vocational skills development, and socio-economic progress, while being recognised by the International Federation of Home Economics.
She noted that the jubilee’s target audience will include teachers, lecturers, practitioners, students, and stakeholders. Activities lined up include an anniversary conference and workshop (jointly with T-TEL) on the theme “Exploring the new home economics curriculum for enhanced learning outcomes,” alongside exhibitions, media engagements, and an awards night.
Madam Kutum appealed for support from the public, corporate bodies, and stakeholders to ensure the success of the celebration, which seeks to honour pioneers, reflect on the Association’s journey, and chart a progressive path for the future.
