Accra, 17 September 2025 – Foreign Affairs Minister Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa presented diplomatic passports to five prominent Ghanaians to strengthen cultural and people-to-people diplomacy.

- Wode Maya (Berthold Kobby Winkler Ackon) – travel vlogger showcasing African destinations.
- Rocky Dawuni – Grammy-nominated reggae musician and activist.
- Anita Erskine – veteran broadcaster and media entrepreneur.
- Ibrahim Mahama – internationally exhibited contemporary visual artist.
- Dentaa Amoateng MBE – British-Ghanaian entrepreneur and founder of the GUBA Awards.
The passports aim to enhance Ghana‘s global cultural presence, facilitating trade promotion, tourism, cultural exchange, and diaspora engagement.
The Ministry highlighted that the beneficiaries’ global reach and international influence would help project Ghana’s soft power and amplify the country’s image worldwide.
